The glucuronidation pathway is one of the most important Phase II conjugation pathways in the Liver for the clearing of toxins and steroid hormones.
Calcium D-Glucarate helps support the natural excretion of toxins that have been conjugated via the glucuronidation pathway.
Features:
• A major pathway of Phase II activity in the Liver is the conjugation of toxins with Glucuronide (a sugar) - the glucuronidation pathway.
The enzyme beta-glucuronidase, when produced by gut bacteria, can de-conjugate the Glucuronide-toxin complex, freeing toxic substances in the gut, which may cause damage locally or be reabsorbed systemically.
Calcium D-Glucarate has been shown to inhibit the activity of beta-glucuronidase.
• Calcium D-Glucarate is also a source of absorbable Calcium.
• Suitable for Vegetarians & Vegans
Caution:
Not recommended during pregnancy or whilst breastfeeding.
Recommended Use:
1-3 capsules with meals three times daily, or as directed.
